Jocarta Egyptian Arabians announces a special birth. On September 3, 2010, our new ten-year-old SE maiden mare gave premature birth to a spectacular bay filly with 4 stockings and a blaze. She is now 3 weeks old, and doing great. Thanks to the endless help of fellow Egyptian breeders, Gail & Joe Mailloux, and veterinarian, Dr. Jim Joyce, we convinced mama mare she was not going to make us raise this filly without her help. It took many hours, and a lot of lost sleep, but mother and daughter are now a team.
(See attached photos taken at 2 weeks of age.)

DQF Kheshahmia Bueno by Kheshahbi X Pocos Midnight Honey
We are so pleased with this filly. The cross of the Khemosabi and Poco Bueno blood lines are turning out to be a good one. The buckskin color was a bonus. We will be breeding Honey back to Kheshahbi and her full sister Tivios Spirit next year.

JRs Al Shabah al Aswad
(Translation: The Black Phantom).
(TDR White Stone x Alia Kateefa)
Born almost three weeks too early, this colt was no where in sight when we found his dam with an empty bag. (Hence, the name "The Black Phantom". We found him in a "mostly dried up" pond. Due to the circumstances, he developed Navel Ill (aka Joint Ill) and we have been heavily medicating him, although we were advised to put him down by one vet and told it didn't look good by another vet. However, the Arabian spirit in this colt is strong and he has a strong will to survive. Although he is still being medicated, he is slowly conquering this disease. More details to come soon.
This colt is homozygous black, SE, AK, pure-in-the strain Saklawi and PS nominated. His sire is a reining champion who's sire is currently used in movies and Ralph Lauren ads. His dam's sire was exported to the UK and her dam is the only offspring produced before her dam was exported.

Debbie Jones - I have three birth announcements.
We have the first foal by our stallion Psoulfire. He is a Padrons Psyche son out of an Afire Bey V daughter. We got a fabulous filly out of our mare, Joras Honey Queen. Here is a picture. We are expecting another foal by Psoulfire any day now out of a beautiful Bask/Eukaliptus bred mare.
We also have a very handsome colt by Ecaho out of our beautiful mare Enchantilly. We lost Enchantilly 12 hours after the colt was born. She was a rare Enchanter Magic daughter. The colt is doing well and is one of the best put together colts I have ever seen. We can't wait to see how he matures.
Our last Psoulfire baby of the season was born in the wee hours of Thursday morning. Psoulfire is our Padrons Psyche son out of an Afire Bey V daughter. He is three for three producing fillies! All of them gorgeous! We couldn't be more pleased with him as a sire. This little filly will be grey like her mother Spartakiss, who is by the GG Jabask son, JK Spartan, and out of our Bask/Eukaliptus bred foundation mare, Serafina Sunbee. Here she is out for the first time, not yet 2 days old.

Danena Freeman - Hey everyone I was sent some pictures of a Half-Arabian colt my stallion sired last year. He turned a year on May 21, 2010. Our stallion Thee Vision is a blood red bay and the mare was a dark bay named SHS Shaphronesis. My client Kristina ended up with is color. Which Vision has produced a couple of chestnuts usually with flaxen manes and tails. But none with a white mane and tail. Kristina says it started out as light flaxen and then just went bleach white. She wrote me the nicest letter about him (which she named him Thee Little Damnit) that a breeder could receive. I just wanted to share I have never seen a chestnut with such a white mane and tail before.

Also clients of mine Joyce and David Garnett just had a chestnut filly in April sired by Thee Vision. I haven't got pictures yet of her.
Use what ever you want from this.
Thanks
Danena Freeman
